Anything is Possible

Howzit! My name is Jaco (pronounced ya-ku). That’s me on the right. I’m a South African currently living on the island of Borneo.
Somebody once told me, and meant it as an insult, that I’m a blogger, a traveler and an eco-warrior. However, that’s actually a pretty good summary of me.
Until such time as scientists discover otherwise, I will assume that there is only 1 earth. And on this 1 earth, at some point during the writing of this blog, there were 6.5 billion people.
I believe there’s an adventure in every single person on this planet. I would love to experience them all. Clearly, I’m way behind.
What’s this blog about?
A little bit of a whole lot of stuff.
It started out as a personal blog I guess, back in the day when I had nothing much going on except my emotional turmoil. For me, some of my best stories are from that period.
As I got more into it though, I realised more people read blog posts which are actually about something. This is when I started blogging about traveling, the environment, IT stuff and Ubuntu in particular.
All my posts are pretty much about these things - I have to say, I’ve fallen behind on my people adventures.
How do I contact you?
You mean to offer me a mega-million dollar sponsorship deal for my wildly unpopular blog about nothing in particular?
It’s easy!
Just leave a message on any post, if it clears the spam filters I’ll get it soon enough.
