This blog was born from the desire to log the adventures had while travelling this planet.
Since its inception however, the travel has substantially decreased, because, you know, travelling doesn’t pay the bills.
But the bills, for now, have been paid…
At the end of the month I will visit the country that has been at the top of my bucket list for as long as I’ve been travelling.
It’s just one of those destinations, which seems half unobtainable; expensive to get to and expensive to stay in.
But every now and then the stars align, and coincidences combine to make the unlikely inevitable.
So here I am, planning the technology part of my trip.
It used to be that my travel checklist only had 2 things marked as “essential” on it: my wallet and my passport. Nowadays it’s 3: wallet, passport and Internet access.
My dream destination has one of the fastest Internet connections in the world, but, like Thailand, apparently not that many free WiFi access points.
Failing to plan would thus likely prevent me from taking advantage of it and there’s much to record.
Alas, where this dream destination is I will write about later.
