It's been over a month since 3.5 was released and it's still not available in Ubuntu Update Manager. I'm using 9.04 BTW. There is a 3.5.1 showing up at this time in Synaptic but when installed does not add any menu shortcuts. Bugs like this are what keep most people addicted to windoze. So far upgrades and installations were relatively painless - I think if we waited for a while, Firefox would eventually offer the upgrade through the Check For Updates option in the Help Menu, which would probably have been a 1 click affair. I don't know why this had to be so complicated. But anyway, I'm happy you got sorted :) It’s a pleasure.
