Anything is Possible
17 Nov
It must have been incredibly hard to avoid first the Halloween decorations and then the Thanks Giving decorations and then the Christmas decorations, but if you live under a rock or in a cave somewhere then I feel it’s my duty to tell you… Christmas is coming!!
Regardless of your religion, consumer marketing is so powerful that anything that breathes expects you to buy them a present. And for some strange reason, this year I have a lot of friends who also celebrate their birthday in December – double whammy. And all I see when I close my eyes are dollar signs… flying out the window.
2007, however, has been the year for me to benefit from discount coupon codes. What? You don’t know what they are? Hmmm, your rock or cave doesn’t have wi-fi either, hu?
Most shopping carts have, somewhere along the check-out line, an opportunity for you to enter a discount code. The catch is, of course, that they don’t tell you where to find these little nuggets. The ones I used to buy books, on the one occasion, and computer parts on another occasion, were sent to me by friends. I also acquired some web space hosting with a coupon code upon which I accidentally stumbled.
But in the spirit of sharing, ’tis the season after all, I will spare you having to either hope that you get some, or going off on a web page tangent trying to find your own, by sharing with you what I already know.
I for one, am hoping to get myself a notebook computer, because as much as I love my desktop, blogging, for me, is more inspirational when I can do it on the go. If you are thinking along the same lines, or perhaps giving one as a gift (lucky people on your gift list!), then Dell’s discount coupon codes will be very handy for your pocket.
Or, if you feel you want to send me a nice digital camera for Christmas to help me out off my 1mpx misery, or one for your family (I won’t moan about it, either way
) then pick up a Camera World discount code and buy it for less or score free delivery.
Of course, there’s probably a discount out there waiting for whatever you want to buy, so whip out your credit card, have your Christmas wish-list handy and go find the promo codes for you.
